Projects
Themis’ primary projects are in support of litigation. Its efforts to help secure counsel and to fund aspects of pretrial expense have been important contributions to eventual success for detrans plaintiffs.
While public disclosure of these successes is often limited by agreements made by the parties, here’s a summary of one plaintiff’s success, with a mention of our listing of many ongoing cases.
ADDITIONAL PROJECTS:
Detrans book:
“I can think of no better people to explain the harms of gender medicine than those who have experienced those harms firsthand.” – Benjamin Boyce

Boyce has been interviewing detransitioners and desisters since 2019, from across the globe and sexual orientation spectrum. He intends to transcribe and distill over 75 interviews into a book of personal stories that will be accessible to the general public and show the personal cost of hasty and poorly executed medicalization.
Please join us to support this heartfelt, non-partisan view of the detransition experience. While legal and institutional means of reform are necessary, these will follow a change in public opinion. Your generous support will help to make these stories available.
This is a special collaborative funding effort. No funds given to Themis for litigation funding will be used for this project. All gifts are tax deductible.
